You should not receive this treatment if you are currently sick, if you are taking aspirin or ibuprofen (may experience excessive bruising), or if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If you are prone to cold sores, the treatment may trigger a breakout. You must be 18 or older and not pregnant or nursing.

You may experience some bruising or swelling for a few days. Redness at the location of the injection is very common as is usually nothing to be concerned about. Please allow 24-48 hours for bruising to subside. If you experience swelling that causes concern, trouble eating, breathing or other serious effects, contact your provider or medical professional immediately. Possible, uncommon, but reported side effects include:

• Discomfort during treatment

• Temporary redness or bruising

• Swelling or tenderness at the injection site

• Itching at the injection site

• Discoloration at the injection site

• Hypersensitivity reaction

• Hematomas or nodules may occur

• Bumps or unevenness after treatment

• Filler migration

• Minor asymmetry may occur
